From Clyde Rogers:
We had some wind, we had some cold temperatures, but most of all I hope we all had fun. I would like to say thank you to all that came to the 2012 Texas Open Chili Championship in San Antonio.
Congratulations to all the Texas Open winners on Saturday as well as the winners Sunday at the Day After cook off. We had 197 chili Saturday and 67 chili on Sunday. Ricky Mitch took top honors Saturday, way to go Ricky.
I wish I could list all the names of cooks and non-cooks that helped, not sure Janice has the room. The committee members stepped up and really did a great job, as well as did a number of cooks, my hat goes off to all of you.
I would like to also say thanks to our trophy sponsors, chair sponsors, and sponsors of Friends of the Texas Open. It is with your help that enables us to present the funds raised from the cook off to the Wounded Warriors Family Support Center. Thanks to all of you. I hope all had a safe trip home.
My e-mail is always open to suggestions or comments. One comment I have heard has been taken care of. Next year all rounds will be posted for cooks to see where they advanced.
Again thanks to all and God Bless.

Clyde

Just FYI (For Your Information):
There have been some Post Office Problems identified during the last several weeks.  I have discovered that the same amount of paperwork: Results Sheet, Show and Chili Entrants Sheet and the check) are now wieghing more than is allowable for 1 stamp.  This is the same amount of paperwork that I have sent to the TallyMaster in the past and it has not needed extra postage.  It has now needed extra postage.  This has begun happening during since the increase in postage.  Please consider adding postage so that we get our results to Jenny Windsor, TallyMaster, as quickly as possible.
