Once again a reminder that Traders` Village has stepped up to help chili cooks with a place to stay while at the Texas Open. To give cooks an additional hotel to choose from Traders` Village made arrangements with the Courtyard Marriott. It is located at 11603 Hwy 151. It is about 13 miles from the cook off. The reservation information is shown below. Hope to see all at Traders` Village for the 2nd Annual Texas Open.

It is finally the weekend.  We are predeicted to have great weather.  That will sure beat last weekend when on Sunday we were cooking outside at 32 degress and part of the time it was not that warm.  At the close of the cookoff, it started to snow.  We had more than an inch!!  You can always depend upon the fact that the weather will do its own thing here in west Texas!!
Have a great weekend!!  I'm hoping for points!
