Don Hoy was released from the hospital on February 13th.  His fluids are down, but he will have to return to the hospital for several follow-up treatments.  His follow-up should be ok if he does what the Dr tells him to do.  Please send him an email on encouragement to:  donhoy@aim.com.  I am sure he will love to hear from you.

From Kelly Brignon:
If you need a spice order brought to you in Waxahachie this weekend, please contact me via phone or email by Wednesday and I’ll be happy to bring it to you. I won’t have an inventory with me this weekend, but I am more than happy to bring orders to the cook off. I can be reached at 972.875.2975 or email me at Kelly@mildbills.com. Thanks so much and I look forward to spending a great weekend with all of our wonderful customers and friends!

From Janita Hinds:
Are you looking at finding a new piece of Art work to decorate your Living Room?  Comstock is just the place you need to come this weekend.  You could win two bronze trophies.  One is the Richard Hinds Memorial Panther and the second one is the Richard Scott Traveling Indian Maiden trophy!!!

It all starts this next Saturday morning with breakfast and then the cooking of chili.  There will be a Dessert and Art Auction.  Following Chili Announcements, you can dine on Southern Style Pulled Pork Supper which will be provided by Hinds Well Service.  The day will end with a 42 Tournament.  The winners will walk away with a set of Commemorative Dominos provide by Thunderbird Machinery.

There will be another Chili Cookoff on Sunday.  This day will begin with breakfast by Lorina's Cantina.  Chili turn in time will be 12 noon.  This benefits the Comstock School Library.

From Barbara Herrin:
Texas Ladies State Contributors – I would like to let you know that so far I have received $2025 in donations. My goal is that we exceed $2200 which is more than we contributed last year. I think we are well on our way to doing just that. Keep those contributions coming in.

NOTE:  If you want an article or a picture that you want to appear in the March Terlingua Trails, you need to send it Dana Plocheck either today or by close of business tomorrow.  She must have all the information on hand so that on February 16 she can assemple the Trails and have it ready for publication.
