From Jack Heath:
To update my son's condition: Buzz had an MRI Thursday. The Neurologist said his brain lesions have not changed since 2003; but, there is something at the base of his brain stem (top of his spine), and ordered another MRI with dye, for his spine on Friday. His condition is not any better, and may be somewhat worse... The doctor said he would feel worse before he starts feeling better, because of coming down from the steroids, and said that it would take months for him to recover, if at all!

Please Keep Jack and his son in your prayers.

From Mike Burke:
Just found out all persons attending the Kowbell Chili Cookoff will be required to pay $10 at the gate, even if you are cooking chili. To offset this, the entry fee is being reduced by $10 so it will still be $20 total to enter and cook.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  Please pass the word to all you can.

From Sue Yates:
Thank all of you for all the prayers, calls, etc. for my son and my family.  Prayers work!  He has rallied and is doing great on the new medicine.  He will be transferred to a Rehap Center this week.  His name has been placed on the Liver Transplant List.  We will continue to need your prayers and we hope that the transplant will come very soon.  Thanks again.

NOTE:  What a weekend at our house.  On Friday I gained a new Great Nephew and on Saturday, Cliff gained a new Great Nephew.  On top of it, we got to cook since there was a CCO close enough that we could get to after my IV.  Of course, Cliff got points, but amazingly, I got a point!
