We had a great time...and those Eagles are awesome!

From Ken Rodd:
I made arrangements with the Mgr of Austin Lone Star RV Resort to let chili cooks park at the RV resort for this weekend Site Fest Cookoff. THERE ARE ONLY LIMITED SITES AVAILABLE AS THIS WEEKEND THE GIRLS STATE BASKETBALL TOURNEY IS GOING ON.

Sites this weekend are $50.00 a night - CHILI COOKS RATE IS $23.00 per night.

Lone Star is only 15 minutes away from Giddy Ups.

Long range forecast for this coming weekend is scattered showers Friday & Saturday and rain Sunday.

If your interested call the park office Tuesday after 8 AM and tell them you are a chili cook.

From Mama Sue:
Those concerned about the parking at Sightfest and would prefer to stay at Carefree Lone Star RV, please call Ken before Wednesday morning. Carefree is offering you a special 23.00 per night rate for the Sightfest Cook Off. But need to call tomorrow as this is High School Basketball Championship weekend and park is filling up quickly. 210-287-8827

Looking forward to seeing you at Giddy Ups this weekend. Made 132 corn bread muffins today to go with that good stew, so come hep us. GOD BLESS US ALL AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.... MAMA SUE CAFFEY

If you have your Pod's history, don't forget to send it to me so that I can include it in the History Section of CIS.
