While we are mentioning Texas Ladies State, here is another reminder about the desert from Sharon Pinnell
Hi Ladies,
The decision has been made that dessert will not be bought for Friday night’s dinner. So I am asking if you would like to bake a cake, cookies, brownies or something for dessert? The main meal will be chicken and/or beef fajitas. I am going to bake a cake and freeze it. If you can bake something please let me know. We can always use leftovers for Saturday’s pot luck. Thank you in advance for your consideration and contribution. Love and hugs, Sharon.

Texas Men's State is fast approaching.  It once again will be held at the Fair Grounds in Johnson City.  Here are some of the details:

Connie Collier will again run a 42 tournament with prelims on Friday and finals on Saturday evening.

We will have a Woodbridge Wine reception and tasting prior to the Friday night meal. We'll be selling Woodbridge at our bar, but we'll have a cocktail (wine) party with free wine samples and snacks from 5:30-6:30. I'll work on music for that party.

We will have fajitas for Friday supper.

We're confirmed with Lone Star Barbecue.

Nigel is confirmed for Friday and Saturday evening entertainment.

Dean Strickland will be back to entertain on Saturday afternoon and, hopefully, during the wine tasting. Zero Skills, Inc, an Austin band with a substantial cult following has agreed to donate a performance to us.

There is much more, so all you men mark your calendar for March 27 and plan to attend Texas Men's State Championship CCO.
