Sorry about the late posting, but I had a problem with the blogger.

From Barbara Herrin:

Come join the Concho Valley Chili Pod for our annual two-day Memorial Day Cook-off to be held this weekend at Water Valley Park.  The charity for Saturday will be D.E.S.K. and Sunday will be the pod cook-off.   The festivities will start out on Friday night with a potluck “sandwich” supper.  On Saturday morning we will have potluck breakfast with breakfast casseroles provided.  Saturday night will feature a brisket and ribs supper.  On Sunday morning we will have potluck breakfast with breakfast casseroles provided.  Sunday night will feature a hotdog supper.  Side dishes would be appreciated for the meals.

There will be a cake auction on Saturday and a raffle on Sunday.  There will be a 50/50 raffle on both days.

Turn in times will be for Jackpot beans and for chili on both days.

As Monday is a holiday, several of us plan to spend the night on Sunday and just chill out.  Come chill out with us.
