Hey all you Chili Cookin Fools,

Don't forget to get your pre-registration entry forms in the mail. Deadline is quickly approaching, entries must be postmarked by May 7th in order to go into the drawing for a 6ft folding table!

The Southwest Open Committee wants to invite everyone out to our NEW location at the Choctaw Casino RV Park! We promise 70 degree weather with only a mild breeze and NO rain! Yes, thats our story and we're stickin to it!!!

I am also going to start taking names for the 42 Tournament on Friday night. It will be a blind draw but would like to have an idea how many teams we are expecting, so just shoot me an email if you plan on participating! Winning team receives an awesome set of designer dominoes!

The Highland Lakes Pod invites you to join us for The 40th Annual "HOWDY-ROO" CCO and The Highland Lakes Pod CCO "Backbone Creek" on May 7th and 8th in Beautiful Marble Falls, Texas. Howdy-Roo is a Regional Cookoff this year. Also, there will be a Lonestar BBQ State Championship. Win a Trophy-Chair-Points! There will be travel money for 1st place chili and 1st place show. We hope you have put this cookoff on your calendar, you will be glad you did.


Paul Mulkey from Hobbs, New Mexico will be back to see if he can make this #3 in a row. He is our reigning 2009 and 2010 1st Place Chili winner.




Registration begins early afternoon on Friday. Lonestar BBQ meat inspection will be on Friday afternoon. Golfing on Friday with a T-time 12:30 p.m. Please contact Doc if you are going to play golf (gather at the Kinnison camp 11 a.m.) The Cooks party will happen at 7 p.m. and this will be followed with music by Nigel "Taco" Delgado.


Saturday evening Potluck will start about one hour after Saturday's annoucements with games and fellowship following the Potluck.


STAY OVER FOR SUNDAY - Highland Lakes Pod "Backbone Creek" CCO turn in 1 p.m.
