Well Another wonderful H-E-B Georgetown cook off has come and gone and once again they were very pleased with our contribution to their charity we are already planning next years cook off so mark your calendars for the July 4th weekend! Sue Caffey presented the store director Terry with the plaque that was given out at TICC and he will see that E.T. Ferris gets it since E.T was unable to be at the cook off. This store does so much ALONE for CASI maybe next year more of us can show our thanks by coming out. I want to thank John Caffey for being head judge. Larry Burruss for referring,Billy Doss,Steve Ashman,Alan Dean my Tally crew, and Susan Dean for being my monitor, Neal Doss for helping set up the judging table. And THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT US we couldn't have done it with out you.

Those of you that live in Terlingua, are probably well aware of the flash floods on the roads.

One of our cooks send me the link on You Tube on what one of these milder flash floods look like.
I found another link that showed one that looks almost identical to Well Creek on CASI property.

While we may never see a flash flood happen while at TICC in the Well Creek, Any thing is possible.

I hope that the Directors continue to enforce the "no camping in the creek bed" rule.

Flash flood safety measures were one of the first things we were taught in Army Basic training at Fort Hood, TX.
