2011 CHANDLER POW WOW
& CASI CHILI COOK-OFF

Come join us for the annual Chandler Pow and CASI Chili Cook-off on Saturday, October 8th which draws over 5000 people annually.

There will be a parade, arts & crafts booths, local entertainment, great food, bounce houses, face painting and lots of fun to be had.

Outstanding chili cook-off prizes include “Goody Bags” for the first 20 cooks to register, custom trophies, $50 Walmart card, Coleman stove, chili pots, coolers and much, much more!

We will be having a “Cooks Only” raffle this year.  Entry fee for the Chili Cook-Off is only $20.00.  Chili grind meat only.  Awards will be given in CASI, Showmanship and Peoples Choice.

Beans are 50/50 and are turned in at 12:00 p.m.  Chili judging will be at 1:00 p.m.

Chili contestants will need to be at Winchester Park prior to the parade which begins at 10:00 a.m. because the roads will be blocked.  If the roads are blocked but the parade hasn’t started, just let them know you are a chili cook and you should be able to still get in the park if you are running a little late.

Contact Chandler City Hall at (903)849-6853 if you need directions to Winchester Park or more information.
