From Bucky Seelig:
The special October issue of the Terlingua Trails has been posted on the CASI website. Please make sure you take the time to read the sponsor report compiled by Jim Ezell. Also, make sure to thank the sponsors when you see them. We all know that they have a choice when they dole out their sponsorship money, and Jim has done another outstanding job in directing them to CASI.

Also, see the events schedule for Friday’s “CASI Scholarship Day” and make sure to view the ad on Page 20 for the new CASI BBQ event which will be held on Thursday, November 5th, all benefiting the CASI Scholarship fund.

Also, there are gate policies, volunteer requests and other TICC information items listed in this issue.

From Barbara Herrin:
Are you interested in serving on the Scholarship Committee? If you are, please email me so that I can compile a list of possible committee members. My email address is herrinbarbara@aol.com.

If you know somebody who would like to be a judge at TICC, please send Renee Moore or me that information so that we can get invitations mailed to these folks.

It was decided at the Board of Director's meeting that was held before the Great Pepper's Meeting, that they price of beer sold at the main concession and at Krazy Flats would be increased to $2.50. The price of beer has not increased in over 6 years. We will also be selling beer by the case again. You don't have to load your Motor Home down with cases of beer. Plan to buy them from CASI after you arrive at TICC.

We are trying to set up a group of people who would like to help mentor some of our Pods who are having a hard time surviving. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please let me or Tim Collier know.

The weekend is here. Time is running out for getting points this chili year. It's this weekend or next weekend left to get enough points for the invitation to TICC. Here's hoping that all of you who are still chasing points, well have the Chili God smiling on you!
