We are back from the CASI Board of Director's Workshop and Meeting.  These were very productive.  So, over the next little while I will be sharing what took place.  Thank you to all of you who came to our meeting.  Your input was very valuable.

From Vickie Childers:
I would like to ask for prayers for my 17 year old niece Savannah. She will be having brain surgery Tuesday in Denver. She has two fluid filled sac's that have bone forming around them that they will have to remove and then put a metal plate in to try to keep it from happening again.

Notes from the BOD meetings:  On Saturday, we held our Winter Workshop.  For the most part it was a rehash of TICC.  We looked at what didn't work and how we can fix the problem for the 2011 TICC.  We also identified things that worked well and how we can enhance them.

We are each going to review our job description and update it.  Some of these jobs have changed with time and technology.  Once they are updated, I will again post them in the Resource Center.  This needs to be accomplished by our Summer Meeting.  Those members who are considering running for a position on the board at the next Great Pepper's Meeting will be able to review this and understand what each job will entail.

We are also preparing a TICC Director Handbook.  There are so many details that are part of each assignment.  Many of those details must be accomplished months before the event.  By having this document, the director will have a start on their assignment.  This handbook will contain amounts of supplies used during the last TICC.  It will also assist each director in assigning tasks required of their volunteers.  We will also post this Handbook on CIS.

Enough for today.  May each of you have a Great Day!
