January 8, 2011, Knights of Columbus Council 2971 Chili Cook off. KC Hall, two miles west of Columbus on I-10 frontage road. Categories include CASI Chili, Local Chili, Pinto Beans, Salsa and Margaritas. Set up will be between 7am & 9 am, Chili turn in at 1:00pm, Salsa and Margaritas turn in at 11:00am. Beans turn in a 12noon. $20.00 Chili entry fee and $15.00 each for Salsa, Margaritas and Beans. Trophys given for Chili and Showmanship. Jackpot beans, margaritas and salsa 50/50 split.
