From Jenny Windsor and Ed Blair:
Great Peppers' Meeting Committee

The GPM Committee is in its initial organization phase regarding the planning for the 2012 Meeting. If anyone is interested in joining the Committee, please email Jenny Windsor and me with some background on yourself, the area of your interested and any ideas regarding the Meeting. We will be happy to consider adding you to the Committee and any ideas you may have.

Our initial work will be on attempting to locate a venue for the Meeting. Our thought process has narrowed the initial area to be in or near to one of the major cities in Texas due in part to the fact that so many members live in Texas. If you have ideas on potential venues, please get them to us ASAP. You don't have to have contacted the venue at this point, but a brief description of the facility and why you think it is appropriate will be most appreciated. Keep in mind that the venue must be relatively close to a major airport that is cost effective for members flying in from all over.

Some good information from Jerry Hunt that I have chosen to share with you.  I have known and know several of our members are presently undergoing Chemo Therapy.

Cleaning for a Reason

If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along.

Just a note to let you know that all of you out East who have been inundated with snow, we are thinking about you.  Here's hoping you all stay safe and warm.
