Well, here is the middle of another week. There are a lot of fun CCOs scheduled for this weekend. I hope the weather is great for every one of them.

Hi Everyone:
Looking forward to great weather and great folks that are all coming to our 27th Sightfest weekend. The State of Texas Pod Present 27th Annual Sightfest being held at GIddy Ups, Manchaca Road. lst of all, those that want to come early, can come in Thursday, leave your houses and go to work on Friday, if needed. Arrive anytime Friday. John and I will be there most of the day. Park where you want. Just leave area open up near the patio for our Silent Auction Awnings.

Cooks' Party Friday night with Stew and Cornbread and garden onions. Desserts welcomed.

Saturday will be Continental Breakfast with sweet rolls,juice, and coffee, in front of Caffey Casa. Registration will there, also.

Beans and chili on Saturday. Bean Sat 1:00 and Chili at 2:00.

Pot Luck supper at 6:30, around Caffey Casa again or nearby. Pappa has fixed his famous Chicken and Dumplings (Soup?) and feel free to add anything or everything. Sunday will be biscuits and gravy and coffee and then chili, only, turn in 1:00. Don't forget to move your clock ahead.

We will have announcements and then play some more. Sot Pod members,wear your Texas Sot Shirts on Sunday. Thank you and we are so excited that you are coming. Come on out for the friends and sponsor of CASI, the Irving Elks Lodge 2334 annual chili cookoff Saturday March 7th. The address is 2015 N Britian Rd. There will be a chicken fried steak cooks party Friday night. Plenty of RV parking with hookups. Saturday Morning breakfast. Chili Entry fee $20, cube or grind. Turn in is 2 PM. Ron Barnes will be head judge and referee.

CASI chili and/or People's Choice $25 (T-shirt included). Turn-in CASI chili 2pm. Start serving people's choice 11am. We really need people's choice chili to support the huge crowd. RV parking - cook out of your RV. Hotels nearby. Cook's party Friday night at 6pm...bring something to grill. This is a big event with arts & crafts vendors, food vendors and live band. Garland Ave, as an addition to the GHS Annual Craft Fair, an event supporting the Class of 2012. Chili Cookoff will be held in the front parking lot of GHS. Once again as I read through the ads for this weekends CCO, I noticed that there were some advertisement for have Show for only 1 hour. As you know, that is against the rules. You do not know 2 months before your CCO that there will be Adverse Conditions. Please refer to the Rule Book IV. C. "SHOWMANSHIP PERIOD - Judging shall be held for two (2) hours ..."
