From Tony Oliveira:

I flew home a week ago Sunday, I had been to the ER that Fri. night before. My right arm had seized up and started tingling and numb, so they did a CT Scan and an MRI. They found a tumor on the left side of my brain. They flew me home (Memphis) Sunday and I had surgery Thursday. They got all of 1 tumor out and they took a biopsy of part of the other one. They are still not sure what that one is. The one was a relapse of the osteosarcomo from my hip back 4 years ago. They are doing more scans on Thursday of my entire body. They believe there is something on my spleen also, but they are not sure what it is either. They did a CT Scan of my chest last Wed before surgery and I got a couple of shots of it as well....I will know more on Thursday....But just staying positive right now, just keep us in your thoughts and prayers!!!!

Tony is the son of Cody Oliveira from Bruce Foods, one of the major TICC sponsors. Please keep Tony in our prayers.

A short note from Cody Oliveira:

We need all the good thoughts and prayers we can get.. Things are going well now.. Waiting to find out what the protocol will be starting next week or so.. I'll keep you updated..

Thank you Jim Ezell for running preliminary and Final Table, we did not run out of beer this year and with 16 final table judges, that was a feat in and of itself.

Along with some great raffle items, including a luxury recliner, cookstove, and satellite dish network, Bruce Young and his workers were able to raise $1160 for the Mary Magdaline Catholic Church Youth Group.

Hope to see a bunch of ya'll in Tyler this weekend for the 28th annual Rose City cookoff at Gander Mountain.
