From Carolyn Seelig and Connie Collier:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

TEXAS LADIES STATE
and the
CASI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

2012

Ladies, Happy New Year to each of you.  It’s time to think about the Texas Ladies State CCO and your individual contributions to the CASI Scholarship Program for 2012.  Through your joint efforts, over $2,000.00 was raised last year and you were able to fund a technical school scholarship or one-half academic scholarship through the CASI Scholarship Program.  It was an awesome first-year showing of your dedication to strengthen and help guarantee the future success of the CASI Scholarship Program.

The deadline for your 2012 contributions will again be March 1st.

In January and February, email reminders will go to last year’s participants and notices will be posted on Ed’s Reflections and CHN.  Contribution Forms will be an attachment to the emails and available to print from Ed’s Reflections and hopefully, the CASI website.

Please feel welcome to encourage your friends to participate as an open invitation is extended to anyone who may be interested in joining the group for the first time in 2012.

Please call or email one of the contacts listed below if anyone has questions or wants information.  We need to add all new names to the group list as soon as possible.  Thank you.

From Carrie Kinnison:

Not only another year has gone by ....another Successful CCO is all said and done. We were blessed with wonderful weather and friends. There are so many people to say "THANK YOU" to:  Cooks as far as New Mexico came; all the local businesses who sponsored supplies and raffle items; head judge, Elizabeth Livingston and Jeanette Cardenas; the music man "Jim Stateczny"; monitors and table runners; registration: Elizabeth Livingston, Pat Pilchick, Ruby Ross, Terri Fass;  our kitchen crew: Connie Collier, Jean Barkley, Keith Barkley, Bucky Seelig, Elizabeth Livingston, Renee Moore, John and Sue Caffey; all that brought food to make our community breakfast complete; and again all the cooks that came and made our weekend fun and SUCCESSFUL. I do not like to mention names when I'm doing this because you always forget someone....and I apologize if I did not mention your name.  But I want all to know that I "Thank" everyone that came.  You all were so gracious and willing to move a chair or table, take out the garbage or anything that needed to be done even find or pick my cane up when I lost it or it fell. I was back into my element again, not 100%, but I felt good being some what productive again. Wishing All A Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year!
