Jan 14, 2012 – Amarillo TX CASI. Tri-State Open Chili Championship. Held in Rex Baxter Building on the Tri-State Fair Grounds. Benefits Make-A-Wish Entry fee $25.00 and turn in 1 PM. Ground Meat Only. Top 3 chili’s and 1st place show automatically qualify for TICC. Cooks party Friday night with a meal and breakfast on Saturday morning.

NOTE:  Yesterday I did not put in the date the information needs to be send to Dana Plocheck for the January issue of the Terlingua Trails.  The deadline is tomorrow, Thursday December 15.  Please get your information to her as soon as possible.
 
It's Wednesday and again I will post all the CCOs for this weekend.  If you have all of your Christmas Shopping done, it could be a good time to cook chili!
 
Dec 17, 2011-001 - Belton, TX CASI. H-E-B Belton Chili Cook Off  Due to the Store Director at the H-E-B Temple # 2 Store leaving and going over to the New H-E-B Belton Store, we are going to have the Belton Store Cook Off on Saturday Dec.17th and the Temple # 1 Store on Sunday Dec. 18th. This year the cook offs will be held at the LaQuinta Inns and Suites at 229 West Loop 121 Belton, TX. This is right off I- 35 EXT. 292 next to the Bell County Expo Center in Belton. Plenty of RV Parking NO HOOK UP's, or you can call and make reservation at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites at 254-939-2772. We have a $89.00 room rate. Make sure you tell the front desk your calling for the CASI Chili cook off to get the room rate. Reservations have to be made NO LATER THEN DEC. 1 st. to get the $89.00 room rate. Turn in time for Sat. is 2:00 PM / Entry Fee $18.00 Chili Grind Only. There will be a cooks party Saturday Night in the Hotel Meeting room at 7:00 PM. Food and drinks will be provided. RV parking - no hook ups. Come for Gary P. Nunn on Friday night, $12 cover charge. Private party booked for Saturday evening but cooks are welcome to party in the back, paved parking lot.
