From Jon Tupper:
We have had to postpone the 2nd Annual Boomtown Days Chili Challenge that was schedule for June 10th in Joplin, Missouri. As I am sure you are aware, the City of Joplin has suffer major damage and destruction from a massive F5 tornado a week ago yesterday. Because of the amount of City personal and the large amount of resources it has taken to maintained the City, we felt it was in the best interested of everyone to postpone the event.

I have lived in this community for over 45 years and we will come back, its just going to take some time. I appreciate every thing CASI does and stands for and look forward to have our Boomtown Days Chili Challenge real soon. I appreciate your time and understanding.

Please keep the people in this community in your prayers.

From Jen Monoson:
Unfortunately, we must postpone our  CASI sanctioned chili cook-off on Saturday, June 25th, in Hornell, New York because we will not have enough cooks to meet the CASI requirement of fifteen. We are sorry for any inconvenience, and we do hope to hold a cook-off in the future. This cook-off was scheduled for Saturday, June 25th, in Hornell, New York which was to benefit St. Ann School in Hornell, New York.
