We have finally arrived at home from Texas Open.  We just sort of blew in!  There were 2 very good days of chili cooking.  On Saturday there were 218 chilis turned in.  This allowed the top 5 winners to be automatically qualified.

Friday arrivals OK.  There will be special parking for campers/motorhomes behind the store with no hookups.  Day cooks will set up on the south side of Gander Mountain. No pre-registration.  Registration opens at 9:30. Cooks meeting will be at 10:00. We will continue registration after that, if needed. Beans turn in at 12 noon with a 50/50 payback. Junior Chili turns in at 1:00. 1st place receives $20 gift certificate from Gander Mountain and a cook stove. CASI chili turn in at 2:00. Hand-painted ceramic platters and bowls for trophies. Beautiful coveted People's Choice trophy, would appreciate having lots of extra chili to serve the voting public.  Tasting cups go on sale at 11:30.  Expect a large crowd with lots of vendors.  There will be a raffle table and a silent auction. Stay for Sunday, no frills points only, no public. LADIES, Tequila Rose toast at 10:30, come to Blu's white bus.
