From Carrie Kinnison:
Ruby Ross is getting around much better now, a little slow but is doing well.

Please keep Tom Cook and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

From Ron Barnes:
It was a hot weekend in Fort Worth over Father’s Day weekend for the 34th Annual Cowtown CASI cookoff. We had great bean and salsa competitions on Friday night, a sentimental winner on Saturday, and 22 brave cooks who stayed around for Sunday. Thanks to Mike Burke, Chuck Edmonds and their crew for providing a delicious Saturday night meal (crab/shrimp boil with burgers and hot dogs for the non-seafood lovers). Thanks go out to everyone who worked in the heat to make this happen. Looks like a good chunk of money will go to the Easter Seals North Texas Center for Autism.
