From Tonya Jester:
We are working on the cook’s party and need to get a good guestimate on how much food we need.

Please let me know if you and/or others are planning to attend, cook and stay for the cooks party – and how many.

Thanks!

From Vickie Hebert:
Information for our Traders Village cookoff April 24 and 25 2010 in Houston Texas.

The parking for the motorhomes, will be right in front of the stadium bleachers in the grassy area.  As long as it does not rain, if it rains then ya'll will need to park in the old area as last year.

The gate that will be open will be the second gate on the south side. That is real close to the Gray Expo where we will be cooking and partying.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our 39th annual cookoff.

From Ken Rodd:
This article appeared in the Army, Navy and Air Force Times in their 29 March issue.

Distribution of these newspapers are as follows at a minimum

All military installations both in the USA and oversea's
All subscribers to include a large amount of retired military
All American Legions, VFW and AMVETS Post receive complimentary issues

Last Saturday when I stopped at the American Legion in Austin, several members asked me if I had seen the "Army Times" and showed me this article.
