From Clyde Rogers:
Please keep Charmaine`s brother in your prayers as he has been admitted to a Dallas hospital due to a blood clot to the brain. His body is responding to treatment so we are in a waiting mode now. Our family ask for your prayers and God’s help to bring him through this.

From John Billy:
I need you to tell your e-mail base that Stan Pitts is in Methodist Hospital, the transplant and specials group. He is having a kidney removed. He could use some friends support.

Just spoke with Stan Pitts, his kidney was removed yesterday and he's doing well. Still in pain but you'd have to expect that. Will probably go home tomorrow. Amazing, that big a surgery, even though it was laproscopic, and they release patience in 2 days.

From Dave Hewlett:
Edgewood CCO Nov 13. The entry fee for the CASI CCO has been reset to just $20 for chili.  There is not a CASI Bean cook off but there is a Bean cook off in downtown with the City fair.

The Fredericksburg Jaycees Tractor Pull Cookoff is requiring the cooks to pay their cookoff entry fees at the gate when entering. This $20.00 fee will cover both your admission to the event as well as the cookoff fees. The ticket you will be given will then be shown at the registration table where you will register as usual with no further monies due. Checks will be accepted at the gate.

From Blu Daniels:
Rose City Pod will once again sponsor the "goody bags" for the Terlingua school students. Please feel free to stop at our white bus and drop off any excess gifts and donations you have received. Kubota has donated sacks, will also take any hotel shampoo, conditioners, lotion sets, soap, pencils, pens, koozies, Family Friendly please! Aprons, even empty picture frames, we all love our prizes and trophies, baut we all know you can only take so many. Please have your stuff to us, either bring yourself or find a good hearted soul who will bring your bags for you by Thursday noon. They have 33 high school students and 75 from 8th grade down through Kindergarten. This is NOT the Christmas Toy drive, this is cleaning out your goody bag closet!
