From Stephanie Brockman:

For those of you who haven't heard, we plan on having a little fun this Sunday at the Morning After TOT Cookoff at the Irving Elks Lodge.

For those who want to participate, we're having a "Blind Recipe Swap". This will go on along with our regular cookoff, and is open to anyone who wants to participate.

Here's how it will work: Bring your already mixed dumps in ziploc baggies labeled with only "Dump #1, Dump #2" etc. No names, comments or instructions. Then we'll put them in brown bags and number them. You'll draw a number, and you'll cook your chili using those spices.

At announcements, we'll disclose who cooked whose recipe!

If you plan to participate, you MUST register and turn in your dumps before 9AM on Sunday. That is when we'll draw for numbers! Hope to see you all this weekend at the 30th Annual TOT Pod Cookoff!!!!

From Dave Hewitt:

The Greenville, TX CCO has been canceled and will be rescheduled for later in the year. Please pass the word.

I am in Synder and I am using a different mail server and some of the emails did not come through. If you did send something and it is not posted, please send it again and I will make a second post today. Thanks

A second post for today!

From Renee Moore:

It is with regret that I report the CASI Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Dorathy Williams. Dorathy has been a tremendous asset to CASI and will be missed. She will continue to do the Upcomings until her successor is elected.

Thank you, Dorathy, for your years of service and all you've done for our organization.

Renee Moore
CASI President
Form Dave Hewlett:
ATTENTION to all chili cooks -----------------------------------------

Due to weather and the past large amount of rain the Greenville CCO may have to change locations. It is not firm yet. Please review the blogs for further updates later in the week.

That CCO is on May 23, 2009 in Greenville, TX for reference.
