The Highland Lakes Pod invites you to join us for The 40th Annual "HOWDY-ROO" CCO and The Highland Lakes Pod CCO "Backbone Creek" on May 7th and 8th in Beautiful Marble Falls, Texas. Howdy-Roo is a Regional Cookoff this year. Also, there will be a Lonestar BBQ State Championship competition. Win Trophy-Chair-Points! There will be travel money for 1st place chili and 1st place show. We hope you have put this cookoff on your calendar, you will be glad you did.

Paul Mulkey from Hobbs, New Mexico will be back to see if he can make this #3 in a row. He is our reigning 2009 and 2010 1st Place Chili winner.

Registration begins early afternoon on Friday. Lonestar BBQ meat inspection Friday afternoon. Golfing on Friday. T-time 12:30 p.m.  Please contact Doc if you are going to play golf (gather at the Kinnison camp 11 a.m.), Cooks party 7 p.m. followed with music by Nigel "Taco" Delgado.
