CASI Great Peppers Meeting
We are coming up to two weeks before the registration deadline of August 15, 2012. There are many people already registered, but to be clear, here are the three steps many must take.
Who must register? Everyone who intends to attend the GPM must register with the CASI GPM Committee. The form was emailed to every GP and RR in February, it may be obtained on line from the CASI website, it has been published in each Terlingua Trails since March, or Bill Pierson will send you the form, chillinipod@comcast.net.
If you are a Great Pepper, you must also submit your pod's annual report to ED Janice Miller.
If you plan to stay at the hotel, you must make a reservation with the hotel. This must be done by August 6, 2012, only one week away.
Two weeks. Do it now. I know waiting until the last minute is exciting, but the GPM committee is awaiting your reply.

It's Wednesday and here are the CCOs for this weekend. There are lots of CCOs and if you are still looking for points, check out the CCOs for a place to spend the weekend. In West Texas we have a promise of over 100 degree days for the next week. So it will be a hot weekend!
Aug 4, 2012-001 - El Paso, TX CASI. Annual Pod of the Pass CCO Held at the Livery Stable Saloon and Roping Arena, 894 South Horizon Blvd, Horizon City,TX. Take the Horizon exit off of I-10 and travel South. This is a Pod Cook Off and benefits the Pod of the Pass. CASI RULES APPLY. Also bean and salsa competition. Entry fee for chili $20.00. Beans $5.00. Salsa $5.00. All three categories $25.00. Chili turn in 2:00 p.m. Salsa turn in 11:30 a.m. Bean turn in 12:30 p.m. Make checks payable to the Pod of the Pass. Bean Cookoff $10 entry fee 12 pm turn in. Jalapeno Cookoff Open rules $5 entry fee 1 pm turn in. Local Chili Cookoff, grind only $15 entry fee 2 pm turn in. Fire Department Chili Cookoff, grind only $15 entry fee 2 pm turn in. Showmanship for Chili begins at 11 am. Big Raffle, drawing after announcements.
