The promoter has decided to cancel this cookoff. The venue is so isolated, she did not feel they could draw any public, thus generating no revenue for their organization. I would have to agree with her assessment of the situation. They will try again next year.

I need some volunteers to help serve BBQ on Sept. 15th at Prospect Mountain in Scurry, TX. (this is located between Ennis and Kaufman TX) from 10 :00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This is for our Sponsor, Jim, with Tyson Foods/charity.
You need to bring what your drinking, but we ask that you PLEASE be discreet with any alcoholic because this is a rehabilitation facilities for kids. You need to bring your own chairs as well.
Tyson Foods is a very important sponsor for CASI. They provide 80% of the food for the GPM and they sponsor the wings for TICC, Men's State, and has also provided product for Texas Ladies State.

I will be on the road starting tomorrow as we travel to Cliff's mothers. I will have cell phone and limited email. Do not hesitate contacting me.
