Our Annual TOT/Cowtown Christmas Party is coming this Friday night. We will have great food (the Irving Elks Lodge is providing the meats; please bring a side dish) and some kickin' entertainment! Also, bring your canned/boxed food items for the food bank and receive raffle tickets in return. What a deal! Then stick around for our two-day cookoff at the Lodge. Hope to see everyone there!

Turn in time 2 pm. Entry Fee $18. CHILI GRIND ONLY!! Can cook inside if bad weather! This is a great place with great food and fun! It's for a great cause and for a special memorial so come on let's make it a great turn out! Dec 11, 2010-002 - Magnolia, TX CASI. Magnolia Hometown Chili Cook Off Downtown Magnolia on Melton Street and Buddy Riley Blvd. in front of of library. Magnolia Hometown Christmas Chili Cookoff will be even bigger and better this year from the Polar Express to the ice skating rink it will be very festive. Again this year we will be doing tasting kits and awarding peoples choice and we will be adding a new catagory of Hometown Chili to the event. Gumbo division, meats are limited to a combination of beef, chicken, turkey, pork, wild game or seafood (any or all). Meat must be boneless. Pre-cooked Rice needs to be included for serving, but will not be judged. All cooking must take place on site, with the exception of the roux. Meat may be seasoned ahead of time. Elks division $15, free if also participating in CASI division. Entry fee beans $5, turn-in Noon, 100 payback. Friday night live band, Kyle Redd and Texas Hammers with Bodie Powell. Friday night cooks party. Lodge furnishes turkey and dressing and ham. Please bring covered dish. Santa and his helpers will try to make a visit Friday or Saturday.
