It's not too early or too late to make your plans to come join The Highland Lakes Pod and friends, celebrate and bring in The New Year at The American Legion Post 437-118 Legion Loop-Kingsland, Texas, on Thursday- December 30th thru Sunday-January 2nd. Plenty of RV parking (NO HOOKUPS) and lots of room for day cooks.


Thursday-December 30th--Just Because CCO-Chili Grind Only-Entry fee $15-Turn-in 8 p.m. Benefits HLP charities.

Friday-December 31st-American Legion preparing for New Year's Eve Party-Cooks have FREE DAY to sight see, shop, play golf or rest up for the PARTY! Dance 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. $10 per chili cook. BYOB-setups available. Black-eyed peas, cornbread & champagne at midnight. Dress is nice casual or you can wear your party clothes. Dinner 6 p.m. at The Kinnison Camp furnished by The Highland Lakes Pod.

Saturday-January 1st- Rusty's CCO-Entry fee $15-Turn-in 2 p.m.-Chili Grind Only. Benefits American Legion Post 437. Black-eyed peas $5/100% payback, turn-in 1 p.m. Community breakfast 9 a.m.- biscuits and sausage gravy, breakfast casseroles, fruit and pastries. Cooks Party 6:30 p.m. chili time furnished by The Ladies Auxiliary. Deserts and horsdoeuvres welcomed. PARTY TIME-Get comfortable, wear your Phi's and bring your quarters for games and social time.

Sunday-January 2nd-Ladies Auxiliary COCO-Entry fee $15-Turn-in 1 up.me.-Chili Grind Only. Benefits American Legion Post 437 Ladies Auxiliary. Community breakfast 9 a.me. Breakfast tacos, fruit and pastries.

If you have been to these Coco's and party you will want to RETURN. Let's WELCOME the New Year together. The COMMUNITY BREAKFAST is for all to share and to give us all a Jump Start for the day.
