Thanks to all of you who emailed, Facebooked, and called following my vehicle accident last week. It's hard to to believe that the other driver I walked away with minimal injuries considering the circumstances. I've long known that chili cooks are the greatest friends and family in the world, and this just reiterated that fact!

The Cook off at the Hog Creek IceHouse has come and gone and we had a nice turn out even though we had cold and windy weather on most of th, but please forgive me in advance if I leave some one out. Thank you to the Hog Creek IceHouse for allowing us to hold our event there once again, and a Big Thank you to Jim Shilling from Tyson's Food for attending all three nights and for EVERYTHING he does for CASI! Thank you to Diana McMillain and Dee Dee for coming out and doing a wonderful job of announcing for us! Thank you to my head judges John Caffey and Randy Duke. My tally teams John Caffey, Billy Doss, Steve Ashman, David Manske, Mavis Nelson,David Lefler, Randy Duke. My monitors, Debbie Ashman, Neal Doss, Randy Duke, Kay Lefler, John Caffey.My Table runners Donna Conrad, Jennifer Collier, Diana McMillian, Dee Dee and of course all of the chili cooks who with out you we could not have had a successful cook off! Hopefully next year we can build this cook off up especially for Tyson considering EVERYTHING they do for CASI and the LEAST we can do for them is to give a little back by SUPPORTING THEIR CHARITY!!!
