As most of you know who are on Facebook the EMS took Herb to St David's South in Austin Wed afternoon. He had stroke symptoms..not being able to walk, slurred speech, and very dehydrated. We spent 7 hours in the emergency room before they could get a room for him. He was very combative and completely 'out of it'. After Cat scans, blood, chest xrays, we still didn't know for sure what was going on. They started giving him Saline IV's and he was much better this morning. He was able to get out of bed and walk 4-5 steps with the therapist. We are hoping this will be a daily routine so we can get him walking on his own as before. Again this year the Willis Point CCO is planned for August 4, 2012. It will be held at the Pondaros Resort – the Friendliest Nudist Club in Texas. Clothes are optional. Hope to see you there.
NOTE: We will be leaving this morning for Dallas and the CASI Board of Directors meeting. It will be at the Irving Elks. We will start our meeting at 8:00 AM Saturday morning. Here's hoping everybody has a great weekend. It is still very hot and dry in West Texas. Pray for rain! Have a great weekend. My post may be late on Monday since we will not return home until then.
