For those of you that will be coming to the Great Peppers Meeting this week and week end, Dianne and I will be collecting Hygiene items for those in the Bastrop areas.
We will start collecting Thursday to Saturday afternoon.
We will be leaving on Sunday morning to deliver all items to the Bastrop area.

A chance to get those last points for TICC, or practice and fine tune your recipe for Terlingua International Chili Cookoff.
Our charity this year will be Passionately Pink for the Cure® part of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer charity. We will be selling tasting kits and other swag for the charity along with accepting donations to the charity.
The theme gives us a lot of opportunities for outstanding showmanship and tent decoration possibilities .. Use your Imagination .... and remember that the top 3 Maryland cooks qualify for the 2011 Terlingua International Chili Cookoff.

Turn-in times are 11:00 CASI, 12:00 Vegetarian, Salsa and Wings, 1:00 Homestyle. Cooks in Homestyle and Vegetarian who enter as "Cooks for a Cause," the winner of which will have $1,000 donated to the charity of their choice by Williams Foods. It is 50 degrees this morning again. I think we can get use to this. We have had 2 days without the temperature going up to 100+ degrees. What a change. The lows the last 2 days have broken the record. But so did the 95 days of 100 degrees!
Cliff and I are leaving for Kerrville and the Great Pepper's Meeting this morning. Will blog from there tomorrow and Friday. I will have limited email, but will be on my cell.
