The Black Gold Pod Cookoff will be held in Snyder, Texas at the Collier’s Place (1528 County Road 132) Saturday, May 15th. The Bronze Buffalo Cookoff will be the next day, Sunday, May 16th. First place will be awarded a Lloyd Goldwire Bronze Buffalo. Be ready for lots of good food, fun, and fellowship. Here’s a schedule of events:

Friday

3:00-5:00 p.m. Early Registration 6:00 p.m. Fish Fry 7:30 p.m. Tequila Rose Toast
8:00 p.m. Shuffleboard Tournament

Saturday
8:30 a.m. Breakfast
9 a.m. Registration
10 a.m. Cook’s Meeting
12 p.m. Jackpot Bean Turn-in
2 p.m. Chili Turn-in
2:30 p.m. Washer Tournament Pot Luck Dinner approximately one hour after results (Meat furnished by Pod)
42 Tournament immediately following dinner

Sunday

9:00 a.m. Breakfast Casserole Contest (Prizes for Top Three)
Continental Breakfast
8:30-10:00 a.m. Registration
12:30 p.m. Chili Turn-in
