I would like to inform readers about a program here in Texas called "Save the Date for Rebate" The state of Texas received more than 23 million from the U.S. Dept. of Energy to establish an Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program. They can go to www.secostimulus.org/rebate. Read the one "Combs Announces Federal Stimulus Appliances Rebate Program." It will go to a TexasInsider web page and has information and e-mail address and phone #s to call. If not I have a copy. Purchases are April 16th -25th 2010. You call or e-mail ahead of time for a rebate conformation . It will be good for appliance's and up to A/C units. If you are doing any replacements on window, a/c units , roofs or insulation, check with you Electric Co, for rebates and the dealer on the a/c unit you are having installed. The Ruud dealers are offering a large rebate on certain Seer model's during April - Nov.& the Federal Gov. a $1,500.00 Rebate on certain Seer models.
So if you are purchasing any new appliances or doing upgrades on the home do some research and ask questions.
If it was not for my boss sharing this info and passing this on to my customers I would not have know all about this.
