We have a great headliner band, Delene & Cahill - well known local folk musicians, jazz musicians, and the VC Middle School is going to put on a few of the numbers from the musical they just produced, Guys & Dolls. We'll play CW music over the speakers during breaks. Newspaper stories coming up- North County Times and the local Roadrunner will do a story and donate two quarter page ads!
By the way, many of our members are on large rural lots.... we can host lots of campers and trailers and host out of town officials or cooks in members' homes.
Rick also reported that he has not heard from any CASI Chili Cookers and wonders if any are planning to attend. If you plan to attend, please let him know. He is concerned that the CASI CCO will not have enough cooks.

Just an FYI. The CCO at Eatonton, GA 03-28-09-002 was cancelled on Friday afternoon last weekend because of weather, we notified all of the CASI cooks that were planning on attending. The OPEN will be held this weekend but the CASI event is cancelled permanently for this year.
