Take Hwy 290 toward Hempstead - exit onto Highway 6 towards College Station
Take the William D Finch exit (Hwy 40) go to the lite and take a left on to Willam D Finch.
Proceed about 3 miles to 2154 and take a left
Proceed about 3 miles to Greens Prairie Road and take a left
Look for the Wellborne Community Center Signs - on left side of Greens Prarie

Bored with life? Need some excitement? Well, we have just the place for you to get that. The 7th Richard Hinds CCO will be happening in Comstock on Saturday, February 18, 2012. There will also be another CCO on Sunday. Below is the flier for the Saturday CCO.

Bring your Valentine and come join the Concho Valley Chili Pod for a Valentine Massacre CCO. Friday night we are going to have a Taco Bar Meal. Pot Lucks are welcomed. Saturday, we will have a Chili Cook Off. Turn in time will be 2:00 PM. We will have a 50/50 raffle and a Desert Auction followed by our Saturday Meal. The Saturday Meal will have the meat (a brisket) provided. Pot Lucks are welcomed. It is a great place to celebrate Valentine's Day and at the same time cook some chili. Sunday, the turn in time will be 12:00 noon. Both cookoffs are Chili Grind only. Hope to see you there!

Traders` Village has stepped up to help chili cooks with a place to stay while at the Texas Open. To give cooks an additional hotel to choose from Traders` Village made arrangements with the Courtyard Marriott. It is located at 11603 Hwy 151. It is about 13 miles from the cook off. The reservation information is shown. Hope to see all at Traders` Village for the 2nd annual Texas Open.
