From:  Jim Trietsch:
As a member who has voiced their opinion in the past, be it good or bad, I would like to do so again. I do appreciate those that are on the BOD. I could not nor do I want to be on the BOD, but we as a group do need some oversight. Thank you BOD Members for being there. Yes we may disagree, but you came forward and said I will do the job. WE cannot all agree but we can all still be friends. We are Family and yes we may be dysfunctional at times (we are Chili Cooks).   But we are Family. My suggestion for all of us, is to look to the positive. All changes take time. If we want to proceed into the future, we must slowly work towards that end together. If you have a problem with something, then think about a solution. Don't make it worse. Help the BOD and Members come up with the best solution for all of us. We are in this together and together we can make things better. We promote Chili Charity and Fun. Remember this. We sometimes sound like a bunch of spoiled brats. Where is the Charity ( to each other) and where is the Fun? Support the BOD or vote them out or run yourself. They cannot do everything by themselves, and they do need our help and support. Everything is not just about the POINTS. We chose this Hobby and we chose our Friends within this Hobby, but we are all still a family, and after every memorial at TICC, I am reminded how little time we really have together. Let us promote the good we do and thank our BOD and Sponsors. Our Captains have not deserted the Ship.

Thank you
James Trietsch

NOTES:
We had a long, but successful Board of Director's Winter Workshop and meeting.  Thanks to all of you who came out and shared the day with us.

Harvey West presented the idea that there is a rekindling desire for the CASI museum.  The Apple Dumpling has been appointed as the committee to research the possibilities and start the fund drive to make this dream come true.

Don Hoy reminded us that this upcoming TICC will be the 10th Anniversary of Krazy Flats.  There are plans for several special things to celebrate this occasion!

Jim Ezell reported that at this time CASI has 48 sponsors and he is still looking for more.  If anybody discovers a possible sponsor, please contact Jim so that he can sontact them!
