It's that time of the year for the Grampa Horney CCO in Cave Creek and as everyone knows Ken Brown has the traveling horney trophy from his first place winning Green Chili last year and claims he will be taking it home once again this year but!!!! We will see Ken. Remember this is STATE Championship Green so bring out those recipes and get cookin. Really! Two years in a row Ken?

Hooked on Chili cook-off held Saturday April 4.

This was a great first time event . We were lacking a little on People Choice Chili as well as crowd number's.  Nothing that we can't iron out and double this into a superior event next year! I would like to thank Steven Gragg and all of his support team for making this event go so well. Many thank's to June Roberts, Sharren Christopherson and Kimmy & Kevin on the judging and set-up support . The Health Dept. tried to beat us up but, we were ready for them!! These people love overtime..

I would like to welcome first time cook's and new member's Jeff Stetson-Anthem,Az; Alan Weiss --Mesa ,Az; and Jennifer Petitta and her Husband -Chander, Az to the Chili Pod Family CASA. Hope to see you all at Cave Creek this Saturday.. Come out and get your picture taken with ME and Steven Segal.....LOL
