Congratulations to all the winners at Texas Men’s State. The ladies did a great job of running judging so it is time for us to step up and reciprocate.

For those of you attending the Relay for Life Cookoff at my Wichita Falls place this weekend, we have a couple of side events. Friday night we will have a gold buyer on hand from 5 to 7 pm. If you have any old gold jewelry, settings, scrap or anything with a gold content, she will make you an offer and pay cash on the spot if you wish to sell. I have been amazed at what some old items are bringing.
Saturday we will once again have officials of the PCRA on hand to sanction the Ladies Catfish Ride. The weather will be warm and there are still a number of big fish no one was able to ride last year. This event was a big hit and some of these girls really took to it.
Come on out and enjoy the cookoff. Greg is once again donating nice embroidered chairs and we have a tremendous raffle, auction and plenty of cold beer. There is even some very good bourbon for folks of that ilk. For folks staying over, the Sunday cookoff is just 3 miles from here and I have plenty of dry camping space.

The Howdy-Roo golf tee off time has been changed to 12:30 instead of 1:00. If you plan to play golf, please let me know asap, so I can arrange tee times. IF you have a team, I need names, not that they will play together, cause I pick the best ones for my team. We are getting excited about everyone coming to Howdy-Roo. Just made up 166 cups and will have more standing by just in case.
