Yolie's Mom passed away this morning at 4 AM in her sleep peacefully. She was 85 years old today. Please keep Yolie in your prayers at this time as she has done for so many in the chili family over the past many years,

From Clyde Rogers:
Oh my gosh, I have been pounding the computer and asphalt looking for employment and I almost forgot about Ladies State and the Silent Auction. No wonder Charmaine keeps asking me about getting the trailer ready. So with Ladies State right around the corner I`m hoping all have been gathering items for the Silent Auction. If we all go out and ask for donations we can make this a banner year with the funds raised on the Silent Auction. The Silent Auction team will be out Saturday morning at 9:00 am (did I say that early) to start excepting items. I would like to see so many items presented that we would need more tables than we figure. I could use some help if there are any men out there that have some spare time Saturday. Any questions about the Silent Auction or if you would like to help please contact me at chilitime@sbcglobal.net or (210) 415-6855. All have a safe trip and we will see ya at Ladies State.

We are pleased to tell you that the Buzzard Bar Cooking Team will be providing Bloody Mary's at registration at Texas Ladies State next weekend, courtesy of Demitri's Bloody Mary Seasoning and McCormick Distilling. They were such a hit at Texas Men's State, we certainly couldn't let the ladies be left out! Be sure and come by and enjoy a drink and toast to the ladies good luck!
From Larry Burruss:
The ladies did a great job of running judging at Texas Men’s State, so it is time for us to step up and reciprocate.
I am seeking table monitors as well as other assistance in the judging area. Please contact me at janieb@alertservices.com if you are willing to help. I have personally spoken to some of you and hope you will also confirm if you are till able to work in the judging area. Think of how great this will look on your resume.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
From Neta Rohr:
We had a lovely cook-off at the Buffalo Girls Hotel at the World famous Canton Trade Days. A total of 43 cooks came to listen to the entertainment , shop, and raise funds for our charity, Citizens League for Animal Welfare.
