Mar 26, 2011-001 - Tyler, TX CASI. Tyler Rotary Club 9th Annual CCO. Held at First Christian Church, 4202 South Broadway, across from the Tyler Broadway Square Mall on Saturday, March 26th, rain or shine. Registration begins Saturday, 8:00 a.m. Chili turn- in time is 1:00 p.m. Bring throw down chili for the crowd. Choice of grind. Entry fee is only $20.00! Really neat prizes will be given for chili, showmanship. Tents, tables, and chairs for public. CASI rules apply and chili must be cooked on the premises. RV parking, but no hookups. Benefits many Johnson City charities and emergency services. RV parking w/limited electric. Park opens Thursday morning at 8 AM. Cooks' party Friday night. Potluck Thursday and Saturday night. Entertainment Friday and Saturday nights plus a special musical guest, Scooter Pearce, Saturday afternoon. Domino tournament, open cash beans, and much more. Special bronze longhorn trophy and $500 TICC expense money to 1st place chili. Also, Texas Men's State Barbecue Championship, 70/30 payback, pays 10 places. Join us for the fun. Held at Tucson Electric Park 2500 E Ajo Way. Take I-10 East to the Kino Parkway North Exit 263B, once on Kino Parkway take a right at the first light to Ajo Way. Turn left on Ajo Way, follow to Forgeus St, turn right into Kino Sports Complex going South. Charity Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 106.
