Apr 2, 2011-001 - Midland TX CASI. 2nd Annual Leadership Midland Cook-Off and Car Show presented by Henry Resources will be held on grounds of The American Legion, Post #19 in Midland, TX (501 Veteran's Airpark Lane). There will be a Cooks dinner Friday night on the grounds. The Chili will be CASI sanctioned (Chili Grind Only) and the cook-off includes Chicken, Pork Spareribs and Brisket. Judging times: Chicken 12:00 pm, Pork Spareribs 1:00 pm, Chili 2:00 pm and Brisket 3:00 pm. Entry fees are Chili $18, Chicken, Pork Spareribs and Brisket each $25. Each team will receive 4 shirts. KID’S CHILI – ENTRY FEE $5.00 – TURN-IN NOON. Make checks payable to Leadership Midland. You can particiapte in the Silent auction, buy food and sweepstakes tickets and you can win some great items!
