Mark your calendar and start making plans to attend the Florida State Open  Chili Cookoff held in Homosassa, Florida on October 8, 2011. The cookoff for 2011 looks like it will be the best ever - Natures Resort is already gearing up for it. 
The "Texans" River Cruise will be Thursday.
