The official CASI headquarters will be at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront in Myrtle Beach, SC. www.hamptoninnoceanfront.com. I have blocked 20 rooms for CASI and FAME at the rate of $159 per night, first come first served. The hotel is completely sold out through April 28th.
Our downtown will be alive that weekend as we join with the Chamber, the City and the downtown merchants to bring a music festival and other galas to celebrate the gateway to our May festivals. The Hampton will fill the remaining rooms long before our event so we need to make reservations early. Our host is General Manager Tom Moore and his assistant Nancy Lee. They have earned many awards in our hospitality community and are consummate hosts. I guarantee that you will be warmly received. I will also make special arrangements with KOA Campgrounds for the campers and RVers in your pods.

Indoor event, no need for tents bring tables if you can, use small gas cans. Open and CASI chili will be judged. Turn-in for open is 11:00 am, CASI turn in is 1:00. Pre- registration deadline is January 1, 2011. Entry fee is $15 open/ $20 CASI before January 1, $25 open/$20 CASI after January 1. Meat is cook's choice. Open chili may be made at home, cash prizes awarded for open chili. This event draws a HUGE crowd, so please make lots of extra chili for the public.
