There will be Rule Changes considered at this year's Great Pepper's Meeting. Since we voted at last year's Great Pepper's Meeting to have a National Open Chili Championship. we need to have the wording included in the Rule Book. This 1st National Open Championship was to be held during the 2008-2009 Chili year. Because of scheduling problems, this was not possible. Larry Burruss, Chairman of the US National Open Chili Championship has sent a formal request to allow the cook-off to be initially held in the 2009-2010 chili year. This will be considered and voted on in our meeting. Below is that Rule Change request.
