From Mikie McGarity:
Come on out to Paradise (Texas) this week-end for a fun packed 2 days of chili cooking and some pretty wild other culinary competitions.
Saturday, we’ll have chili and beans during the day and top it off with “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” in the evening. Topping off the competitions, Nick will be cooking his famous pizza while we watch the Budweiser Shootout. Pajamas are permitted and encouraged.
On Sunday, we’ll start early (10:00) with Omelet and Bloody Mary competitions. Chili turn-in is noon.
So why should you come? This is fun, fun, fun. This is a cooks cookoff. This is your opportunity to spend 2 days in Paradise. This is where you can cook indoors and party in someone’s house. This is where you can win some of the most unique swine-themed trophies ever!
In addition, we will once again be competing for the coveted Traveling Trophy. Points will accumulate throughout the week-end for this amazing prize. This is one you’ll really want to take home!!!!!!!!!!
Will we see you this week-end? We certainly hope so. Call if you have questions or need directions.

From Sherry Maus:
Want a place to have a great weekend of fun and chili cooking? Bring your Valentine and come to Water Valley, TX. We will have Chili, Charity and Fun. This is our annual St Valentines Day Massacre CCO. Saturday, there will be Jackpot beans competition which has an entry fee of $5.00 and a turn in time of 1:00 PM. Chili entry fee will be $18.00 with a turn in time of 2:00PM. On Sunday, the Chili turn in time will be 12:00 noon. We will have a stew supper for all on Friday night and a Mexican Supper on Saturday night. This time there will not be any water hook ups due to vandalism at the park. There will be electricity. Tom Green County is repairing the damage, but because of the extreme cold last week, the water spigots have not been replaced. If the weather is bad, we will be able to cook in the judging building, but the forecast promises 70 degree weather. For more information, contact Sherry Maus 325- 658-1364 or Janice Miller at 325 940 8753.

Once I get the information, I will work with the Insurance Company to get you this certificate. If there is a cost because of added names to this certificate, I will then let the requester know.
Please give us a few days for this process. Thanks, Janice.
