Never let it be said that chili cooks aren’t a hardy bunch! We had 36 of the finest folks come out and brave the freezing temps and overcast skies to cook a pot of red for charity. We gathered Saturday at the Rahr & Son’s Brewery in Fort Worth for their 2nd annual chili cookoff and had a great time, even in the cold. Fritz and Erin Rahr, along with their entire team, were most gracious hosts and helped make the event a success! The free keg for the cooks didn’t hurt either! You should go to www.rahrbrewery.com to check them out. Now, on to the winners!

We were able to raise about $500 for the Tarrant Area Food Bank. I would like to thank Stephanie Brockman, Neta Rohr, Johnnie and Patrick Sullivan and Nancy Hewlett for monitoring tables. You can’t have a good cookoff without good people…these are some of the best!
