Gil Hewlett had a left carotid artery surgery this morning, Thursday July 30. He is doing good and all went OK with no problems. Just one more zipper added to his collection.

It's Friday and the weekend is upon us. I hope each of you have a chance to cook chili and promote CASI! Remember the motto: "Chili, Charity, and Fun."

We are in the middle of MO and finally it is not raining!!! We drove through rain all day yesterday. Please continue to send me the information for the blog. I will be posting each day.
