I would recommend that we highly encourage chili cooks to have and use a "Anti Bacterial Hand Sanitizer" at chili cookoffs if they don't already. Various "food" activities are being canceled in different cities and towns in Texas. Having the above mentioned item would also be a positive image to those in attendance.
This Swine Flu situation is has started to effect things here in Austin that I know of for sure. People from out of State are starting to cancel their RV reservations here at the park.

There were 266 applications submitted for this year's CASI Scholarship. The six applicants chosen for a CASI scholarship this year are Joshua Tenneson, Erik Longabaugh, Blake Griffiths, Jessica Wampler, Joseph Talamentes, and Candance Guy-Anzaldua. Congratulations to each of these winners.
