The Black Gold Pod Cookoff will be held in Snyder, Texas at the Collier’s Place (1528 County Road 132) Saturday, May 16th. The Bronze Buffalo Cookoff will be the next day, Sunday, May 17th. First place will be awarded a Lloyd Goldwire Bronze Buffalo. Be ready for lots of good food, fun, and fellowship. Here’s a schedule of events:

Come one, come all to the 30th Annual Top of Texas Pod Chili Cookoff held on Saturday, May 16th. We will gather at the Irving Elk's Lodge on Britian Road. Thanks to all who pitched in and helped run the Cleburne Elks CCO on Saturday. This was truly a team effort and special thanks to Pat Pilchieck for helping out with those darn lids. Thanks to all of you who helped monitor, supply boxes, help with turn in, and run the cook off. Everyone worked together and 45 chilis, 12 Elk chilis and 16 beans were judged.
